Understanding and applying the Sustainable Livelihoods Approach (SLA)

Khanya-aicdd and the Center for Development Support (CDS) will be hosting a 3 day training course to promote thinking around transforming the development system in order to ensure that livelihoods of the poor are improved, and how the sustainable livelihoods approach can be used to achieve the designed impact in the improvement of people`s livelihoods.

The course is targeted at practitioners, consultants and advisers from development agencies, and government departments, wanting to understand the Sustainable Livelihoods Approach (SLA) and how to apply it in their work. No previous experience of SLA is required.

It is a 3 day Certificate course and has been accredited by the University of the Free State.
