This paper reports on work carried out with partners in Zimbabwe, Zambia and South Africa by Khanya – managing rural change and funded by the UK’s Department for International Development. It summarises the key findings from the four case study countries/provinces according to levels of support and action, types of organisation, policy issues and the process of managing change to promote Sustainable Livelihoods.
