Country:  South Africa
Objective: To implement effective integrated water resources management (IWRM) in South Africa, through redistributing water resources towards the poor. This involves devolving IWRM to stakeholder-led Catchment Agencies (CMAs) and transforming Irrigation Boards into Water User Associations (WUAs)
Description: An institutional learning and capacity building programme that devolves water governance from DWAF to Catchment Management Agencies. Khanya is contributing to the design, delivery and evaluating stakeholder learning events within this programme.
