Objective: To develop a programme of support for the National Cotton Producers' Association
Description: Khanya-aicdd will support two elements of Oxfam America’s Agriculture and Rural Livelihoods Programme: an integrated livelihoods initiative in Manica district being run by a set of local partners led by Kwaedza Simukae; as well as a Cotton Initiative, involving development of a support programme for smallholder producers, support for a national cotton producers’ association (FONPA). This is led by the national Cotton Institute and ABIODES, a local NGO. In addition Khanya will assist linked to the SMIP Programme on assisting to develop these as learning sites, to develop and implement a learning framework for the initiatives.
