Empowering Communities or promoting livelihoods?
As part of an international series, Khanya-aicdd hosted a seminar that brought together practitioners, policy-makers and academics to explore the links between Sustainable Livelihoods Approaches (SLA) and Community-driven Development (CDD). The seminar was held on Thursday, 26 March 2009.
The event was attended by over 40 people from the region covering Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania and Zimbabwe and was held at the Garden Place in Johannesburg, South Africa.
