Action Research
Developing our understanding and action in Africa around our core themes.
The main activities in action-research include
- Ensuring basic research capacity and credibility including quantitative skills:
- Taking forward specific themes, linked to a coalition of partners interested in policy and implementation:
- Documenting and publishing from existing work and on an on-going basis:
We have many action-research projects ongoing, including one starting where we will reflect on our own learning about how best to implement action-learning processes, ranging from relatively small ones to very large two-three year programmes.
Within this practice, we have substantial research capacity with three full-time staff and many others participating in action-research work.
