We are  looking for enthusiastic individuals to help in planning for and implementing Sustainable Livelihoods interventions across different provinces in South Africa and across Africa. As part of a team, successful candidates will work with experienced colleagues in participatory facilitation and community-based planning to develop and implement community-based plans and related activities.

Revolutions in Development - a series of conversations with Professor Robert Chambers

Khanya-aicdd has published a series of conversations based on a 'seminar' given by Professor Robert Chambers in 2010. The excerpts with the following titles 'Are our participatory behaviours reponsive to change?', 'Too many villages carpet-bombed..', and 'Opportunities for change - A new space for participatory innovation' - aim to capture the essence of the seminar where Professor Chambers challenged conventional thinking to learning and institutional change. Building partnerships for Community-based Economic Development

In September, 2010 - Khanya-aicdd completed another training on Planning for Community-based economic development (CBED). TheWellbeing.Analysis.jpg workshop was held in Willowmore (Eastern Cape) for Ikwezi and Baviaans Local Municipalities and was attended by members of the community, youth-development facilitators, representatives from Community-based Organisations, emerging farmers, Ward Councillors and a host of key resource people from these local communities.
